Do you always have trouble finding the right Christmas presents for someone? why do we get so swept up in gift giving and receiving every year? is it the feeling we get when we all gather around the tree early in the morning in anticipation to prove how much we love each other?
why doesn't the government do the same thing for the LGBT community this Christmas? how about not "compromising" with the same-sex marriage laws just introduced in the ACT? sounds like a good place to start to me. if we were truly loved like all other citizens then we would not have to try and have to justify our relationships to the attorney general! if i wanted to get married tomorrow i could go a grab a crack whore of the street and get married to her and no one would ask us to justify our marriage (although they may ask me to justify her dress sense). how the hell is this protecting the sanctity of marriage?

Your Messiah has returned!
hey everyone,
sorry for the being so slack with this blog. i've been busy and all because i went to sydney for a few days the past week. it is Amazing. Adelaide is still beautiful but i still wish i was there. all the independant boutiques on oxford streets and the numerous gay night clubs and pubs (as opposed to just a few here in Adelaide!.
this made me ponder. why on earth am i so comfortable with my image and the way i dress no matter where i am. In sydney i blend in with all the other fag-o-trons but here i stick out like a sore thumb because i board a train wearing a collared shirt with shorts and not with a suit *gasp of horror*.
is all the animosity towards us really that prominant in society or is it the lack of support from the australian government which makes us feel this way?
